About the 2014 Leisure First manual
By 2014 the Eriba Touring had achieved cult status over 55 years, built on the aerodynamic principle originally developed by an aeronautical engineer, lightweight construction, compact dimensions and a low overall height thanks to its integrated raised roof. The interior was finished in light Merano pear wood, with the raised roof giving a standing height of 195cm and a genuine feeling of spaciousness for a caravan of its compact footprint. Standard highlights included an energy-saving LED awning light with an integrated motion detector, a fully galvanised AL-KO lightweight chassis for a high load-bearing capacity, the optimised AKS 3004 anti-snake stabiliser with auto-reverse mechanism, and full-height, adjustable-shelf wardrobes on every layout. Options for the season included a Truma Mover SER/TER manoeuvring system, an underfloor spare wheel holder, extra reading lights and the Independent Electrical Packet — a gel battery, 13-wire connecting cable and 230V automatic charger for power independent of an external hook-up.
